Our People:
Jim Schafer. Jim is our mechanical engineer. After working for 30 years of in the HVAC industry, Jim moved to Seattle to start his own consulting business. His primary responsibility is to provide technical support to our US customers and Chinese manufacturers; this includes the review and when necessary, the redesign of drawings, and the inspection of samples from China. Jim is our main contact for our customers in the US.
Fengju Xu. Fengju was born and raised in China. Following college in Shanghai, she came to the US to earn her MBA degree. Following graduation, she has been working with US companies doing business in China for the past 20 years. With her Chinese background and bilingual skills, she is able to communicate effectively with our Chinese partners and get the best-valued products for our customers.
Mr. C.C. Li. Mr. Li is our site manager in China. He is a retired metallurgist with many years of experience in the industry. With his help, we are able to control the quality of our products and to make sure the products meet the requirements of our customers before they are shipped to the US. Mr. Li is also a valuable source for industry information in China.
Mr. Jerry Z. Shen. Mr. Shen is our business manager in China. He oversees Ivory's business activities and development in China. As an accountant for a government agency, Jerry provides us with up-to-date information of government regulations, economic developments, etc. His suggestions often provide us new ideas for our business in China. With his help, we are able to stay on top of changes and ensure a long-term stable source of products for our customers.
Ming Lu. Mr. Ming Lu is our General Manager in China. Mr. Lu is responsible for all Asian business activities, including monitoring production, quality, and delivery of products to our valued customers. Mr. Lu has worked as a sourcing manager for various companies, prior to joining Ivory, and he is deeply involved with our current sourcing in China. His many years of experience with production management, quality control, strategic sourcing and global sourcing is a benefit to our team.
